| 2025-05-30 09:44 | Raisteel | to reference Pirates of the Caribbean: "robots.txt is more what you'd call 'guidelines' than actual rules..." |
| 2025-05-30 09:44 | Gsus | done for now actually |
| 2025-05-30 09:43 | Radzin | not what im asking ;) |
| 2025-05-30 09:43 | Gsus | u are too late! :P |
| 2025-05-30 09:43 | Raisteel | ai bots ignore robots.txt |
| 2025-05-30 09:43 | Damager | oh man, does robots.txt not work |
| 2025-05-30 09:43 | Radzin | you doing more hero? :D |
| 2025-05-30 09:43 | Gsus | yeah |
| 2025-05-30 09:43 | Radzin | vyperrrr |
| 2025-05-30 09:42 | Raisteel | a few folks have, based on chat convos. he recently moved it to a new hosting provider (or a new machine) - not sure which. I think part of the issue is AI bot crawlers - it might be consuming too many resources and crashing it. |
| 2025-05-30 09:41 | Judgment | has anyone reached out to the main wiki host about the instabilities? |
| 2025-05-30 09:41 | Raisteel | unfortunately, without a database dump, the mirror doesn't bring over user credentials. |
| 2025-05-30 09:40 | Raisteel | well, I'm not gonna fork it while folks still contribute to the main one. if he decides to stop it, I'll work on opening up write/update and user reg. |
| 2025-05-30 09:38 | Damager | well they're not very good at doing what they're supposed to be doing |
| 2025-05-30 09:38 | Judgment | gave* |
| 2025-05-30 09:38 | Judgment | they don't do it... they have that ability out to several players |
| 2025-05-30 09:37 | Raisteel | I don't mind them doing the user registration part of it. I hate user management :) |
| 2025-05-30 09:36 | Damager | when are we going to just stop using the wiki that's maintained by someone that doesn't play? |
| 2025-05-30 09:35 | Raisteel | https://avatarwiki.allsoftwaresucks.com/ |
| 2025-05-30 09:34 | Zaffer | What's the addy for it? |

| 2025-05-30 09:22 | Zaffer | Very up to date information then :) |
| 2025-05-30 09:19 | Raisteel | last successful mirror was yesterday - so that's not too bad. |
| 2025-05-30 09:17 | Raisteel | mirror failed last night and main is still not responding |
