| 2025-08-14 20:47 | Eldorado | con you get at least +4 from spells, which will affect your hp gains, dex you get a bunch from spells as wel which helps your defense (AC), and str will help your capacity and hitting, so, strike a balance. I think the key is that there's a lot of stuff you *coul* spend practices on as you grow but you certainly don't need to. lots of spells you won't really use much for example. |
| 2025-08-14 20:46 | Eldorado | intelligence is a little different. you can train up to 19 and max out at +3, so 22 as well. your most efficient practicing happens at 21 or 22 int points, so make sure you have 21 or 22 when you go to learn a skill and you'll use your practices most efficiently. if you have your int slightly higher, you'll gain a little more mana potentially, but it's relatively minor. |

| 2025-08-14 20:44 | Group | What I normally do is stealthly steal widow gemstones from Schuyler's bank account when he's not looking and then spend those gold coins on training my kobold alts' stats ;) |
| 2025-08-14 20:44 | Eldorado | so, starting with wisdom, you can get your wis max trained to 19, +22 with gear or DC buffs. there is actually no difference in practices gained per level whether your wisdom is sitting at 19 or 22, so as long as your wisdom is at 22 when you level, you don't need to spend any more pracs on wisdom for now |
